Darlene & Subrata

In love in San Francisco.  Our first home together.

We spent the beginning of our relationship in two cities very far apart - Subrata in San Francisco and Darlene in NYC.  Even though it was difficult, we made sure to make each of our cities home and wanted to explore them together as much as possible.  Here we are exploring Coney Island on the Wonder Wheel!

NYC has always been special to both of us.  Here we are in a rare Time Square moment - trying to get discount tickets to a Broadway show.

The first real cooking that Darlene did for Subrata was her Mom's famous lasagna recipe... here she is in action!

Darlene's NYC apartment was in Murray Hill / Midtown... only a few blocks from Koreatown.  Here is Subrata in our very favorite Korean BBQ restaurant.

Darlene made a traditional turkey with all of the sides for Thanksgiving... here is Subrata carving that turkey.

We spent NYE in New York and made a silly attempt to see the Times Square ball drop.  However, that fail - ended up as a win, when we ended up at an amazing Spanish tapas restaurant and then our local bar for top of the hour.  #happynewyear

We love to eat -- pretty much all types of food.  Here we are at Chelsea Market in NYC enjoying some raw oysters.

Darlene surprised Subrata with tickets to the see tennis greats in NYC at the US Open in 2016.

This was a random drive that ended up becoming a pedal boat out on the lake near Google's campus one beautiful afternoon. 

Darlene continues to work for her NYC-based company, which means she starts her work day at 6 am.  This is the view from the office/2nd bedroom window as the sun begins to come up.

Our apartment has a veranda that overlooks the pool - it comes complete with grills, seating and a fireplace.  This was our first grilled meal out there!

AT&T Stadium, home of Giants, is only a few blocks away from our San Francisco apartment.  Here we are at a game!
